Water's Edge is back!

This Wednesday we will kick off another year of Water’s Edge gatherings. These are monthly opportunities for people of all ages to come and enjoy a creative night of interaction with one another, good coffee, and a great night of singing music
loud enough that you can feel it!

If you are looking for a relaxed and informal chance to
connect on a deeper level with other folks, we invite you to join us this Wednesday night. Our hope is that each month we would encourage one another and become more passionate about worshipping our great God together!

Well, we might not all be able to go down to South Philly to see the World Champion Phillies play every night, but did you know that Chelten has two softball teams in a church softball league? Yes, Chelten fields two teams in the Suburban Fundamental Church Softball League. Each team plays about 15 games during the season, plus postseason action if they make it (which they plan on doing). There are games each week from now until the beginning of July. Come out and support our teams. For team schedules and field locations, click on each team name below:

Road trip...Indy style!

In an effort to support our friends and Chelten Missionaries, the Eads, we are looking to send a team to Muncie, Indiana for a work trip.

Details: The church at Ball State is receiving a lease for a café/performance area in a building in downtown Muncie. Part of them being able to afford the cafe style concert area is because they are going to move their offices there too. This will eliminate the rent they currently pay for offices. So, the obstacle is this: there are no offices at the new place just a big extra room with flimsy walls.

How do you come in? We are looking for a few good men and women to assist with the following projects:

• Building walls for the offices
• Assisting in adding a loft for a small library
• Building some desks for our staff
• Painting
• Some electrical assistance would be great.
• Re-tiling a men's and women's bathroom and the kitchen area.
• The kitchen is in need of a modest kitchen remodel/ rearrange.
  

Timing: A group will be heading out on June 4 and returning on the 7th.

• We will leave early on the 4th for Muncie.
• On Friday and Saturday we will work hard.
• Sunday we will worship at their church and then head home.
  

Logistics:

• Housing will be provided by church members on camping pads, couches and beds.
• Chelten is allowing us to use the vans and will also be paying for the gas.
• The cost for the trip will be around $30 -$50, including food, housing etc.
• We understand this is last minute but we would love to have you. We would like to assemble a team by May 22nd.
  

If you aren’t able to help at this time but have a skill that could help the Eads I am sure they would be interested in hosting you at another time.
